I highly recommend Kenny Aronoff’s memoir. Guy has seriously entertaining stories to tell about his decades in music. I also saw an interview with him which he said Billy couldn’t hear the percussionists, and they couldn’t hear each other. He was the only one on stage who could hear what they were both doing and had to try to make sense of it. You’d never guess from watching - sounds great to me.
